My girl has been saving her money for nearly two years. She has put every Christmas, birthday, allowance, and extra chore cent in a jar...awaiting the day she could buy herself a very special treasure. Today, she took her hard-earned, and earnestly-saved, trove to the Apple store and BOUGHT HERSELF an iPod touch.
She was proud and thrilled!
She explained to the salesperson exactly what she wanted it to do for her and how much she had to spend, then made the decision herself. I am so proud of her ability to set a goal and see it through.
This one small act shows that this child has
the perseverance to reach her wildest dreams.
